The effect of my learning style (inductive and deductive) in discovery-oriented learning on the balance beam in artistic gymnastics for female students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The importance of research is manifested in elevating the level of performance in basic skills on the balance beam using the correct teaching method, which is my style (inductive and deductive) of discovery-oriented learning in acquiring those skills for gymnasts. The research problem emerged through observing weakness and hesitation in performing activities and movements on the balance beam, which requires a suitable teaching approach that involves guidance after observation and discovery of correct movements. The research objectives were to identify the effect of my style (inductive and deductive) of discovery-oriented learning on acquiring some skills on the balance beam in artistic gymnastics for female students. The research sample included third-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra. The conclusions drawn were that my style (inductive and deductive) of discovery-oriented learning is important and successful in acquiring some skills on the balance beam in artistic gymnastics for female students. The recommendation is to adopt my style (inductive and deductive) of discovery-oriented learning for their success in acquiring some skills on the balance beam in artistic gymnastics for female students.
