The effect of special exercises in reducing the differences in the crossing step between the ten hurdles and achieving the 110-meter hurdles run
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims to identify the effect of special exercises in achieving the (110)m hurdles running effectiveness. The researchers used the experimental method with a single-group design, in order to suit the nature of the research problem. The research community was represented by the young players of Al-Samawah Club, numbering (6) players. Then the researchers worked to determine the research variables, which were (step of crossing each hurdle, achievement of the 110m hurdles effectiveness). The researchers concluded that the special exercises prepared by the researchers contributed to reducing the differences in the crossing step between the ten hurdles, which led to regularity of the running speed during the 110m hurdles distance. Accordingly, the researchers recommended that the trainers use step length and applied pressure exercises, which include coordination exercises, as they play a role in improving the difference in the crossing step and achievement of the 110m hurdles effectiveness.
